Mr. Keisuke Ohno grows vegetables using coffee grounds collected from coffee shops and similar establishments. While still a university student, he became aware of the various challenges facing Japanese agriculture, such as the aging population and abandoned farmland. He launched an initiative to revitalize agriculture by creating a circular system that actively engages the local community. By transforming waste products into valuable fertilizer resources, he simultaneously achieves both local waste reduction and soil improvement. Mr. Ohno speaks of a future in which agriculture serves as the central pillar of the regional economy. What kind of future does he envision?
